Screened House in Clovelly uses the home’s original footprint to link courtyards and roof gardens, with rooms oriented to bring in light and greenery via sliding screens. These allow flexible indoor-outdoor living at the rear of the home.
In collaboration with Trias Studio, we focused on circular material use—retaining brick walls and adding recycled hardwood, glass tiles, and reclaimed terrazzo. Clay pavers were flipped to expose their core, while original sandstone footings were repurposed in the garden.
The all-electric home includes solar, battery storage, and EV charging, offering a low-carbon model for sustainable living.
For Gully House, Klyne Construction worked with Andrew Burges Architects from the early stages to align the budget with the creative vision.
